Welcome to Paper Aeroplane World, a source of both unique and familiar paper aeroplanes, that you can enjoy whatever your age. Now, its been a long time since this site has been updated and it seems unlikely that i'm going to update it at all. But worry not Paper Aeroplane lovers! I have a new project which is underway, i'm designing an entirely new paper aeroplane site that will be bigger and better than this one by some distance! Not only will it feature a multitude of FREE designs, including selected ones featured here, but also ALL MY VERY BEST DESIGNS in my new book. I'm very excited about this project and If you love paper aeroplanes you should be too! You will be able to buy the book directly from my site and i'm trying to make sure its going to be a cut above anything else currently on the market.

The paper aeroplanes in the book are paper aeroplanes that have both unrivalled performance, and have NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE on any site or in any book. These designs include the Thanati and the Piranha 2, which i've banged on about for so long in the past but never uploaded, but that is only the start! Now the book may not be ready until summer 2004, but it will certainly be worth waiting for. It will not just be a collection of old rehashed designs that someone has put together, my book will contain all new material, that I myself have spent the last 15 years of my life designing. With over 300 unique designs under my belt, I will select only the finest and let you in on paper aeroplaning secrets that I have been sitting on for years.

Paper Aeroplane Philosophy

Here is an outline of MY philosophy towards paper aeroplanes

1) Paper Aeroplanes should be made from just one peice of paper (a4* sized).

2) Paper Aeroplanes should not be designed to require and tape, glue, staples or paper clips. No additional material of any kind.

3) Paper Aeroplanes should not be designed to need any cutting of the paper. The paper is sacred MAN!

4) Paper Aeroplanes should be made to look cool!

*A4 is a standard British and European paper size, I have only recently realised that in America a slightly different standard size is used. The designs on this site are optimised for A4 sized paper, on my new site, I will have two sets of instructions for the paper aeroplanes, one with the measurements optimised for A4 paper, the other for US letter paper.
